Make sure to tighten the screws from the back side of the shelf not from the front because screws peel off the paint from the steel at the point of contact.
Assembly was not terrible, but it was not easy either. My wife gave up and asked for my help. I recommend putting together the whole unit before you tighten the screws, otherwise the final details won''t fit to already assembled part. The Allen wrench that comes with the shelves is a bit too long and you cannot turn it 360° in one go. The shelves also come with a flat (–) screwdriver while all screws are Phillips (+) 🤷‍♂️

Meaning you have to pull out and re-insert the Allen wrench multiple times to complete each one. The metal pieces in the back were bowed a bit on mine. Can’t really see it from the front though. Make sure you have the three metal brackets oriented properly before installing.
